Anat Adi-Atias, Vice President, was born in Jerusalem, Israel in 1969 and was raised in the Netherlands. In 1987 Anat joined the Israel Defense Force for two years at the IDF Spokesman's office, declaring those two years as the years that shaped and formed her into the achiever she is. After the military service, in 1989, Anat moved to Washington DC and joined the Embassy of Israel for five years at its Congressional Affairs department, working closely with both the US and Israeli diplomatic and political scenes.
Anat graduated from the University of Maryland in 1994 and followed her dreams of joining the Hospitality field of Hotel Management. Her first position was Director of Catering Sales at a prominent Washington DC Hotel. Once moving back to Israel she was solicited by a prominent Hotel in Jerusalem as Guest & Public Relations Manager hosting the movers and shakers of the world, closely engaging with Presidents, Vice Presidents, Prime Ministers and many heads of States and their staff.
In 2010 Anat was offered a VP position at Distinctive Diamonds in Indianapolis, IN. As an experienced diamond wholesaler, who gained extensive experience in the global diamond industry and served high-end diamond and jewelry retailers for over 12 years, joining the retail side of the business was a natural career decision. It was instantly clear that working closely and directly with the end consumers themselves is the true melting point of all her passions combined. 'The emotional factor of meeting the couple ending up wearing a beautiful diamond has taken the thrill of being part of the diamond industry to a totally different level'.
Anat fell in love with Austin from day one when moving to Austin, TX in 2014 as Vice President of Diamonds Direct. 'Everything feels like home - from the warm weather to the laid back personality of the people of Austin'. She loves checking out the endless BBQ and Texmex restaurants while wearing her Longhorn attire. 'Austin is amazing and I couldn’t be prouder taking part in "keeping it weird" by exceeding people's expectations when it comes to Diamonds & Jewelry'.
Anat enjoys spending time with David, her husband of 24 years and long awaited for daughter Zoey. They love to play with their adopted Beagle, Brandy, and spend their time together cooking and traveling. Sponsoring local philanthropy, and especially foundations for kids, is a true passion for Anat ever since her very own won the battle herself.
