Dovy Klarberg, EVP, joined Diamonds Direct in 2008. He began his career in the diamond industry later in life after accepting a family offer. Klarberg served in the Israeli military in an elite unit until 1995. This experience gave him the opportunity to hold an important position in the Prime Minister's office until 2000. After retiring from the military, Klarberg began working in the software industry and became the Chief Operating Officer of one of the world's largest software companies, TesCom, headquartered in Israel. In this position, he led development of product quality assurance, configuration, and design.

After seven years with TesCom, Dovy accepted a family offer to enter the diamond industry. This is when he joined Diamonds Direct's parent company and worked for the headquarters in Israel where he began learning the diamond trade. Klarberg became manager of the cutting facility and was finally asked to move to Charlotte, NC to help the retail location grow and develop as Senior Vice President.

During Dovy's time with Diamonds Direct SouthPark, he has maintained focus on Diamonds Direct's unique concept and mission. As a result, Diamonds Direct has been honored as one of the top 20 independent jewelers in the United States. He continues to support and build the Diamonds Direct Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 organization, whose mission is to provide local women's and children's organizations with support, awareness, and fundraising tools so they may grow and thrive.

His future aspirations include furthering the Diamonds Direct Foundation's impact and efforts within Charlotte, NC. He is also focused on making Diamonds Direct SouthPark's brand more ingrained in the local community.

In his free time, Klarberg enjoys spending time with his wife, Keren, his two sons Bari and Ariel and his daughter Haylee. The family also enjoys exploring new restaurants and hosting friends and family for dinners and gatherings at their home.
